i wrote a rambling discontented bad poem that i intended to post here in this journal. then some electronic wraith appeared and made my poem disappear. all the better for you, whoever you are who may read this. it was a very bad poem. anyways, enough of that. i have come to the conclusion that i want my art to hold some sort of deeper meaning than just the beauty of the formal elements. in that context i have been trying to create series of works that express some ideal or notion that i think needs more attention. however this is much more structured than i ever thought i would be with my work. a lot to times a the end of a work session i just have to take my left over paint or whatever and smear it all over and around till i feel less tense. anyways i am trying to figure all this stuff out in my head so i will probably be rambling about it here well. till another time.
